This page provides access to the data for ds012.0. Currently, there are three options available to you:

The full data for ds012.0 are available in a binary format (see the Documentation section for the format description). Click here to download the binary data file.

To check the availability of data by date, click the button in the navigation bar above.

Netscape Users: If your browser tries to open the datafile in your window, you can force a download by holding the Shift key while you click the link.

Get a subset of the data and/or a different format:

Enter a starting date (form is YYYYMMDD) or leave blank for earliest date
Enter an ending date (form is YYYYMMDD) or leave blank for latest date
Formats:
  binary (view the format description)
(volume is ~36 KB per month)
  GRIB (view a format description)
(volume is ~130 KB per month)
  Formatted ASCII
(volume is ~650 KB per month)
 If you chose Formatted Ascii, the data will load into your browser window. Check this box if you want the data downloaded to a file on your computer instead.
  

 Get a time series of one gridpoint:

Enter a starting date (form is YYYYMMDD) or leave blank for earliest date
Enter an ending date (form is YYYYMMDD) or leave blank for latest date
The grid for this dataset is a 5°x10° latitude/longitude grid. Gridpoints are available at 5° intervals for 15N to 90N latitude and 10° intervals for 180W to 180E longitude. Enter the latitude and longitude of the gridpoint for which you want a time series:
Latitude (15-90):    North
Longitude (0-180):    East   West
 Check this box if you want the data downloaded to a file on your computer instead of to your browser window
