I try the dark shutter every 30 minutes at least and still haven't found
it stuck yet.

I couldn't get the dark shutter to stick so I took apart the drivetrain,
it looked OK so I tightened the clutch about 1/4 revolution.  This may cure 
problem, only time will tell since the problem is infrequent.  Maybe the
clutch is wearing down due to the new control system which may be driving
the mechanism for too long after it stops, causing the clutch to slip a lot.
I think we should cut back on the drive time to what is barely needed plus
maybe two seconds, to extend the life of the clutch.
