Vic suggested some connectors to check inside the drive, they were OK but another connector was disconnected - the SCSI switch connector. So I have found the cause of the problem but I will have to ask Vic which way to connect the connector since neither it nor the receptacle are matched or marked in any way. **** EVENT COMMENT ****: Wed Jun 28 19:02:14 GMT 2000 Nice EPL at PA=290, faint CME also present. **LOW-L PROBLEM**: Wed Jun 28 19:40:33 GMT 2000 OK, I checked with Vic on the connector orientation, it is blue wire up as I had connected it using my best guess. I connected the new drive and restarted the program with data going to tape L00726 in that drive (drive #1). I also removed L00725 from drive #0 (old good drive) and installed L00727 there.
