Boot dialog appeared OK except for "Ignoring writehost !!!" message that appeared after hello for t_barrel line. That same message, "Ignore writehost !!!!!!!" appears one or more times after barrel turns around. Gui is going, but no data appears on image areas, appears to be only noise. Patrol is basically running except for the no data issue. Could David have revised the boot script to get by the crash problem Darryl encountered yesterday with the new MV200 board? ___end___ Mon Jul 16 18:00:16 GMT 2007 PICS Flat Mon Jul 16 18:01:50 GMT 2007 CHIP LSD Mon Jul 16 18:02:33 GMT 2007 PICS End Flat Mon Jul 16 18:02:38 GMT 2007 PICS ReStart Patrol Mon Jul 16 18:03:31 GMT 2007 CHIP End LSD Mon Jul 16 18:03:38 GMT 2007 CHIP BiasLSD Mon Jul 16 18:04:28 GMT 2007 CHIP End BiasLSD Mon Jul 16 18:04:34 GMT 2007 CHIP Bias Mon Jul 16 18:05:24 GMT 2007 CHIP End Bias Mon Jul 16 18:05:29 GMT 2007 CHIP ReStart Patrol **PSPT PROBLEM**: Mon Jul 16 18:26:17 GMT 2007 Looked like filter was not at the correct position, did a ftr home on PC while program was in wait for nect series mode. ___end___ Mon Jul 16 18:32:15 GMT 2007 MKIV Start Patrol **MKIV PROBLEM**: Mon Jul 16 18:36:59 GMT 2007 Looks like we're back in buisness. After David removed the change stopping data writes to the host we reseated the Bit3 pcb and its attached cables. After rebooting we now have a clean bootup and operation and data is being transferred to nahenahe and displayed. Images are a bit noisy but we can see corona, we'll run a calibration to see if that improves the images. ___end___ Mon Jul 16 18:44:21 GMT 2007 MKIV End Patrol Mon Jul 16 18:44:27 GMT 2007 MKIV Start Cal Mon Jul 16 19:03:09 GMT 2007 MKIV End Cal Mon Jul 16 19:03:15 GMT 2007 MKIV Start Patrol **MKIV PROBLEM**: Mon Jul 16 19:01:31 GMT 2007 Bit3 board/cables issue may have been separate from the original problem. Darryl had to move flat cables connected to front of KCC boards in order to access the Max Video 200 board in order to swap in the "spare". The cabling to the Bit3 board may have become compromised at that time..... thus the different error messages in the boot dialog and the continued boot failure. The MV200 swap probably fixed the original problem. ___end___ Mon Jul 16 19:27:01 GMT 2007 MKIV End Patrol Mon Jul 16 19:26:59 GMT 2007 CHIP End Patrol Mon Jul 16 19:27:35 GMT 2007 PICS End Patrol COMMENT: Mon Jul 16 19:27:32 GMT 2007 reconfiguring dome shutter. ___end___ MKIV COMMENT: Mon Jul 16 19:30:01 GMT 2007 Stopping to remove NV200 card to do some checking and testing. ___end___ Mon Jul 16 19:36:42 GMT 2007 CHIP Start Patrol Mon Jul 16 19:36:55 GMT 2007 PICS Start Patrol MKIV COMMENT: Mon Jul 16 19:46:16 GMT 2007 Compared old DQ board with new one, settings are similar.
