ASCENT Data Policy
The ASCENT (Atmospheric Science and Chemistry mEasurement NeTwork) data are freely
available to the public and the scientific community. Since these data are the product
of extensive and continuous effort by the team to maintain ASCENT instrumentation and
assure collection and processing of high quality data, we expect users of this data to
ensure that the responsible ASCENT team members receive fair credit for their work, and
are offered the opportunity to contribute to the data analysis and co-authored manuscripts,
as appropriate. Note that co-authorship eligibility is not limited to writing sections of
a paper but rather it encompasses the broader contribution to data collection and analysis.
Early communication with ASCENT team members and individual site PIs (contact information
available below) is expected to assure the quality and limitations of the data are accurately
 represented in the planned research.
When using these data in a publication or presentation, the National Science Foundation,
Mid-scale Research Infrastructure (AGS 2131914), should be acknowledged. We suggest the following
text be added to the acknowledgement section of publications:
“The ASCENT data used in this work were supported by US NSF Mid-scale Research
 Infrastructure grant, AGS 2131914”.

Data Processing Details
Under typical operation, the measurements at timestamps of 00:00 do not include sampling from 00:00 to 00:30 due to internal instrument checks and calibrations.
Different energy levels have been used. This change leads to higher MDL for several elements. For information, contact PI.
