sample.wnd1	Sample data for "wnd1" type data file. The complete set are only available with an NCAR account.
sample.wnd2	Sample data for "wnd2" type data file. These complete set are only available with an NCAR account.

anem_elev_inf	Contains information about the dates of the anemometer elevation changes 1305 stations.
anem_elev_inf_all_currently_available	Apparrently and earlier version of "anem_elev_inf".

wind_errors	File of flagged wind speed errors.
wind_extremes	File of flagged wind speed extremes.
wind_problems.1st_run	A slightly expanded version that combines information of "wind_errors" and "wind_extremes", with additional information justifying the flagging.
wind_extremes.2d_run.TRUSTED	Contains valid 10 extreme values for each state already identified in "wind_problems.1st_run".
wind_extremes_extended.2d_run.TRUSTED	Provides for each extreme hourly wind record the entire daily suite of hourly values for the station with extreme values and for up to six nearest locations that had observations in a given year.
